Illiteracy, insecurity, exclusion: poverty is the epitome of human rights violations. Amnesty International supports its ‘Demanding Dignity’ campaign with a photography exhibition, meetings, and two books published by Textuel and Max Milo.

Poignant photos, including those by Philippe Brault, Guillaume Herbaut, Jean François Joly, and Johann Rousselot, illustrate the violations of fundamental rights to health, housing, security, land, and identity worldwide.

‘Dignité,’ a photographic project by Amnesty International / Oeil Public. From May 19 to July 3, 2010, at the Paris City Hall, and then throughout France.
