Challenge

La Ferme d'Andréa (opens in a new window) is an artistic eco-venue tucked away in the Creuse, three kilometres from Bénévent-l'Abbaye, in the village of Grand-Bourg. Run by Isabelle Fruchart and Patrice Pujol, founders of the Compagnie Nous nous sommes tant aimés, this farmhouse surrounded by meadows brings together living, artistic creation and rural life. The challenge was to give this singular place a digital presence that matches its identity: embodying the meeting of art and the countryside, while clearly organising a lively programme built around two seasons, workshops, shows and festivals. The website had to become the natural way into the venue, welcoming local audiences as well as visitors curious about this artistic experience in the middle of nature.

Approach & support

We helped La Ferme d'Andréa build a website in its own image, where the text breathes at the pace of the place. The structure follows the two highlights of the year, the Bronze season and the Orange season, so the programme is organised without freezing its ever-changing nature. We paid particular attention to the writing and visual staging of the home page, designed as a story that unfolds as you scroll, mixing photographs of the venue with fragments of text. Event management was designed to be autonomous and scalable, with dedicated categories (workshops, courses, shows, festivals) and the next dates naturally brought forward. Everything was designed for simple day-to-day use, so the team can keep the website alive through the seasons without relying on technical help.

  • Information architecture built around the seasons and event categories
  • A sensitive experience design, consistent with the venue's rural and artistic identity
  • Custom WordPress development for autonomous programme management
  • Smoother navigation and access to content on every device

Deliverables

  • Custom showcase and events website
  • Season and event category management system
  • Page templates and reusable components
